SLO 75-104 AUS
The undefeated Crocs round of 16 match against 0-3 Slovenia got off to a flyer as the Crocs dominated from wire to wire.
The opening quarter set the benchmark that the Crocs were searching for early, shooting efficiently to take a 14 point lead into the first break.
Continuing to build, the Crocs expanded the lead to 28 at the half with a large amount of the team's points coming from beyond the arc knocking down 10 three-pointers. Paul was the assailant in the first half with 14 points and seven assists.
Antonio Browne upped his output in the third quarter with efficient shot choices, as the Crocs utilised their spacing to build the lead.
Slovenia generated a spark late in the third, managing to out score the Crocs 26-22 in this quarter. However, the small gains weren’t enough to make substantial in-roads with Luke Paul launching a half court three on the buzzer to maintain a 24 point lead into three quarter time.
Greg Vandejagt’s Crocs got back to work in the fourth, with their high intensity tempo showcased by John Aryang’s HAMMER dunk as the Crocs ran away in the fourth quarter.
Paul and Browne continue to star with 20 points each, whilst the entire Crocs roster managed to score in a complete all-round performance.
The Crocs turn their attention to a quarter final matchup with Canada on Friday.
